An autumnal bucket list for you to enjoy

As we are in the middle of autumn here is a bucket list for you to complete with your loved ones, friends or even by yourself! There are no rules when it comes to an autumn tick list, as the weather gets colder and the beautiful autumn colours appear, it is a perfect time for you to embrace the season and spend time with your loved ones. As you age you may feel you cannot do these things anymore, but that is not the case.

  • Knit a cosy outfit for yourself or a loved one

  • Have someone help you decorate your space for autumn or Halloween if you would prefer

  • Visit a pumpkin patch with your family

  • Bake your favourite autumnal dish

  • Bake apple pie or pumpkin pie if you are feeling extra seasonal

  • Share autumn memories with your family and reminisce

  • Make a memory book that you can add to every year with your new and old autumn memories

  • Carve a pumpkin to get into the Halloween spirit

  • Visit your local farmers' market and select some autumn treats

  • Participate in an online autumn arts and crafts class

  • Watch your favourite autumn film

  • Read a book, this could be a book you are reading as part of a book club, individually or with your grandchildren

  • Paint pumpkins

  • Bake seasonal cookies

  • Enjoy an autumnal beverage

  • Make a pinecone bird feeder to encourage wildlife in your outside space

Above are just a few activities that you can participate in this autumn to create some lovely keepsakes and memories with your family and friends. We know this is not the case, there is something out there for everyone, never let your age define what you can and cannot participate in. So, enhance the enjoyment, seize the moment and create lasting memories.
