For many of us, our home is our safe place, we believe that we should make our house a home, to live in for as long as possible. It is time to start preparing our homes for the festive season.

Firstly, declutter and organise your space, ensuring all walkways are clear to prevent trip hazards this could be done by you or a loved one. This will prepare space to add as many festive pieces as you wish to decorate your home. Then,

  • Clean your home with your festive-scented cleaning products.

  • Select a scented candle to burn throughout the holiday season.

  • Dig out your holiday decorations such as your Christmas tree, ornaments or tinsel.

  • Write greeting cards with a heartfelt message to your friends or loved ones.

  • Make a festive hot chocolate to enjoy whilst watching a Christmas film.

  • Listen to Christmas songs.

  • Knit a cosy blanket for you or a loved one.

  • Bake some festive treats.
